Amphenol External SAS (SFF-8470) to SATA Breakout Cables (crossover) are ideal for connecting a SATA controller to a 4x multi-lane SAS backplane or bracket. Featuring Spectra-Strip SKEWCLEAR shielded parallel-pair wire for guaranteed sustained data-rates up to 6.0 Gbps per lane, reduced signal loss and improved cross-talk performance. This 4x SATA to SAS (host to target) breakout cable features a standard InfiniBand type SFF-8470 thumbscrew connector (backplane end) fanned out to four individual internal SATA drive connectors (controller end). Thinner and more flexible than competing SAS products, our cables offer convenient routing options and improved airflow in your datacenter.
