Mode Conditioning Cables

Genuine Amphenol Mode Conditioning Fiber Optic patch cables are specifically designed for use with long-wave (1300nm � 1000BASE-LX) Gigabit Ethernet applications. Many network installations include a combination of Single Mode and Multimode fiber, leading to problems with Differential Mode Delay (DMD). Mode Conditioning cables bridge the gap between the competing fiber types while fighting unwanted DMD.

	SC - SC: Mode Conditioning 62.5/125 Fiber Optic Patch Cable (OFNR Riser) The mode conditioning optical cables adjust the singlemode output of Gigabit Ethernet transceivers to a multimode cable network. The molded cable assemblies are composed of OFNR riser rated jackets with molded connectors for durability and optimal data transmission. All cables are fully tested to meet or surpass industry standards. Different lengths are also available to provide flexibility for coverage of short/long distances with high resolution.
