Click for larger image		 Digital Video Interface (DVI) is a video connector aimed at maximizing picture quality and installation flexibility by supporting both digital and analog signals on devices such as digital projectors, multisync monitors, HDTV displays, and LCD screens. DVI is an increasingly popular standard for video card manufacturers with most cards including both a VGA and a DVI output port. There are multiple styles of DVI interfaces and link types available depending upon the application. The DVI-A interface supports an analog RGB video signal with resolutions up to 1600x1200 and is reverse compatible with VGA/SVGA devices. Integrated concentric ferrite cores provide an added layer of protection against harmful EMI/RFI interference.
