The fiber optic core of this cable utilizes 280 individual strands of glass as opposed to a molded plastic for increased flexibility. Each TOSLINK connector is assembled with mirror-polished glass fiber reinforced PBT and a 24k Gold plated tip for reduced error rate and improved fidelity. All of the cables from our exclusive Ultra Series come standard with an attractive black nylon jacket for added protection from damage and wear. Compatible with all TOSLINK equipped devices including DTS / Dolby Digital surround sound receivers, CD, DVD, HD-DVD, and Blu-ray Disc players, game consoles, and set-top boxes.
